Financial Advisor Career Reviews

The weighty responsibility of investing individuals’ savings and helping them build a secure retirement… takes both financial knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Personal financial advisors provide advice on investments, home ownership, estate planning, and more… to help people manage their finances and plan for the future. Personal financial advisors start by determining a client’s financial needs and how much risk they’re comfortable with, then helping set short- and long-term goals.

Advisors are experts on the benefits and limitations of many different types of investments, such as mutual funds, stocks and bonds, real estate, and related issues such as insurance and the tax implications of different investments. Marketing their services to potential clients is an ongoing part of the job.

To build their client base, personal financial advisors give seminars, participate in networking events, and seek referrals from current clients. Typically, advisors meet annually with clients to discuss their investment portfolio and make adjustments. Most personal financial advisors work in the finance and insurance industry, and many others are self-employed.

They usually work full time in offices, and some may meet with clients during evenings and weekends. Personal financial advisors typically need a bachelor’s degree; majoring in finance, economics, accounting, math, or law are all good preparation.

Finance is a highly regulated field: specific licenses are required to sell different investment or insurance products. Advisors may need to register with state regulators or the Securities and Exchange Commission.

So many reasons why it shouldn’t be but let me just touch on this they put this in front of me today’s a good talking point keys to become a successful financial advisor and I pulled it up online. I’m looking at I love what he writes this is done by a very good coach in the industry great advisors take care of themselves first taking care of themselves love it have to do that they maintain clear vision they’re focused long-term focus.

I love that too I like what it says remain focus just don’t have a focus but remain focused key take care of yourself we focused remain focused intentional and directed to that which is important to you and with that top advisor right that’s important for you’re going to make mistakes get back on the horse ok every coach talks about that not a problem 5 control your time here’s where it starts getting interesting controlling your time.

It says here a great adviser does not let their day control them they have to take control of it the problem is and the problem with the rest of this year find a coach not a consultant never stop learning master the art of delegation first of all don’t delegate always empower give back a hundred percent give back but how do you do all this the key to doing all this is taking control of your time.

See this is the key and how do you take control of your time if your demographic is the affluent individual or wealthy family a big successful business owner and guess what you need hundreds of them to do your job how do you take control of your time there what happened to the time to take care of yourself. what happened into your vision your clear vision of maintaining that vision it’s out the window while you take care of their vision.
